You were required to be a bumbling idiot, to prove to anyone paying attention, that you were someone playing a part?
He is. 
What if… 
As part of your portrayal, you had to use a different signature?
One just different enough, so that only people paying attention, would notice?

There were 2 different 22 gun, presidential inauguration salutes?
There were.
What if...
Your inauguration violated the only specific time, mentioned in the U. S. Constitution?
It did. 
What if... 
The part you were asked to play, was the 
President of the United States of America? 😲
It was.
